In 1976, Karen, a native Californian, relocated to Minnesota. She currently resides in the small town of Redwood Falls with her husband, children, and niece. Karen and her daughter Mary began painting together at their kitchen table on snowy Minnesota days. Eventually what began as a family activity became their family business: Lights of Home.
